  How much you should spend on a wedding dress is down to your budget and your feelings about how important the dress is to you. “The number that is usually tossed around when this topic is discussed is about 10 percent of the overall wedding budget,” Sabatino says. “Some people are comfortable spending much less than 10 percent, and others are willing to spend a bigger chunk than that. I think you just have to consider how important the dress is to you.”
