BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — One man was sent to the hospital after a shooting near Erickson Avenue and Olive Street in Bloomington on Sunday.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, officers were dispatched after a report of shots being fired at 5:20 p.m.
Officers located a 26-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound and began to provide medical treatment until paramedics arrived, and transported the man to a local hospital.
The man’s injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
This incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Jordan Tieman at 309-434-2587 or JTieman@cityblm.org.
